Moths of the West Midlands £23.50

This is the first-ever book on the moths of the West Midlands covering all of the macro moths in our region (over 600 species) and many of the micro moths regularly recorded in Birmingham and the Black Country, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire. The book is lavishly illustrated with over 1000 photographs, from local photographers wherever possible, and also includes up-to-date distribution maps, habitat information, adult flight periods and larval food plants. In addition to the species pages there are also chapters dealing with the special moths of the area and the top places to look for moths – "hot spots".
