Tuesday 4 August 2026 11:00am
Bear in mind that this event is just over the border in Wales and may be either the 4th or 5th of August!
Llangynog is at the head of the Tanat Valley (about 20 minutes up the road from Llynclys, between Oswestry and Llanymynech). The Grayling site is on the disused blue slate quarries of Craig Rhiwarth. The site is steep-sided, but the Grayling population may be more visually accessible from the paths along the lower slopes.
The walk will start at 11am on 4/5 August. Walkers are advised to bring something to share for lunch.
If you are interested in coming, please contact the organiser and state if you have a preference for either date. You'll be advised when the date has been chosen.
